Fedora 13, iPhone and Rhythmbox
Finally, I got Rhythmbox to manage my music and MP3s on my iPhone.
Early today I cannot plug the iPhone into Rhythmbox. I got just “Apple Device” with no name, no songs lists and nothing than a dead link.
I then updated my fedora box (yum update) and installed these important upgrades:
– kernel PAE 2.6.33.5-112.fc13
– usbmuxd-1.0.4-2.fc13
Start your Rhythmbox and it should now find your named iPhone and you will able to load/move songs among playlists and music folders.
Remember to install gstreamer-plugins-ugly-0.10.14-1.fc13 packaged to manage mp3 with your Fedora box.
